AUTOMATIC RESET
When the alarm is triggered, it will sound for 30 seconds, then reset and re-arm itself to prepare for any further intrusions. This is a legal requirement.
CHECK STATUS CONFRIMATION
On disarming the system the warning indicator will confirm the cause of a prior alarm condition by a series of coded flashes.
REMOTE CONTROL OF CENTRAL LOCKING
If the vehicle has central locking arming/disarming the alarm may also lock/unlock the doors. Note: certain models may require an additional interface.
REMOTE CONTROL OF DEADLOCKING
An option where the vehicle has electronic double/deadlocking arming the alarm may also double/deadlock the doors. Note: certain models may require an additional interface.
WINDOW CLOSING
If the vehicle has electric windows, these will close when the alarm system is armed. This feature is selectable for venting purposes. Note: certain models may require an additional interface(s).
SUNROOF CLOSING
If the vehicle has an electric sunroof this will close when the alarm system is armed. This feature is selectable for venting purposes. Note: certain models may require an additional interface.
TOTAL CLOSERE
Allows electric windows and electric sunroof to be closed. When alarm is armed. This is dependent on vehicle having relevant equipment.
COSTOMER SELF TEST FACILITY
During the 30 seconds arming period, this facility confirms the correct operation for certain circuits. This is indicated by a series of short “bleeps” and/or a series of flashes on the warning indicator.
IMMBOLISERS
Immobilisers are devices which inhibit unauthorised starting of the vehicle without the use of an electronically coded key. A number of circuits such as start, ignition and fuel system are usually isolated. All Laserline alarms incorporate immobilisation and stand alone immobilisers are also an option.
ANTI-JACKING
A device which is sensitive to the tilting of a vehicle, both longways and sideways, thereby triggering the alarm (towing away or wheel removal)
